About

My name is Michael Werth, and I am the owner of Micha’s Nordic Workshop. I was born and raised in the former GDR (East Germany) and, after finishing school in 1995, I completed a three-year apprenticeship as a road construction worker. After four years of service in the German Air Force, I decided to change career paths and retrained as an IT specialist in system integration, a field in which I have gained over 15 years of experience.

In addition to IT, I have developed extensive skills in craftsmanship over the years. I take great pleasure in home renovations, repairs, and improvements—whether it’s installing wooden paneling, drywall work, painting, or handling minor repairs. I enjoy the variety and the challenge of finding practical solutions for different tasks.

Since 2016, I have been deeply involved in 3D printing, using this technology to solve everyday problems and fulfill custom requests for customers and friends. Whether it’s functional spare parts, prototypes, or creative designs, 3D printing offers endless possibilities.

In September 2024, my wife and I moved to Edsele, Sweden, to pursue our dream of running a versatile and creative workshop. With Micha’s Nordic Workshop, I offer 3D printing services, consultation, and skilled craftsmanship for homes, gardens, and general maintenance. I look forward to using my skills to assist the local community and provide tailored solutions to my customers.
